I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a nice location. The rooms were lovely and I could hear the river flowing, which created a peaceful atmosphere. The host was very nice and the breakfast, although an additional cost, was excellent with a great selection of food. The location and exterior/interior of the hotel were beautiful. Additionally, the option for rafting and watching wild animals was a unique and enjoyable experience. my stay at this hotel was wonderful and I highly recommend it.
Can recommend this hotel.

As trekkers, we loved the beautiful surroundings, private patio, and close proximity to Sierra Gateway. The well-kept property had a peaceful atmosphere, with the sound of the river in the background. The landscaping was impressive, with lovely vining rose bushes and pine trees. The king suite had a spacious bathroom with two sinks, and the bed was firm and comfortable. The friendly staff upgraded us to a room with a fireplace and a balcony, which provided stunning views of the Kern River. The homemade breakfast, including delicious biscuits and gravy, was a delightful surprise.
Felt right at home, no complaints.

We definitely got our money's worth at Whispering Pines Lodge. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view from the balcony. The location right by the water and close to the town was exactly what we wanted. The staff, especially Ryan at check-in, were incredibly helpful and made our stay even better.
The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if there were more breakfast options available.

The room had a spacious layout with a wonderful view of the surrounding scenery. The fireplace and patio added a cozy touch, making it a perfect spot to relax. The pool was clean and inviting, and there were picture-worthy attributes throughout the property. Additionally, the location near the river and town was ideal for exploring the area.
The staff was not particularly friendly or helpful. We were disappointed to find that breakfast was not included, despite the hotel labeling itself as a B&B.
